Introducing the Vuotia By Shadi Razavi co-design collection.

Shadi Razavi is a Helsinki-based stylist and creative mind. We have known Shadi for several years and have always admired her work, style, and vision in fashion. But above all, Shadi is a kind and wonderful person. This is why we are thrilled about our joint co-design project, which has resulted in two unique bags.

The foundation for this co-design project started with the material - luxurious reindeer leather. Reindeer leather is soft and silky but also very durable. This allowed us to design curvy shapes and soft details. Let’s let Shadi tell you about the bags in her own words:

Alje Bag

“I wanted to design a bag that fits everyday use but can also accompany you on nights out. The light appearance, hobo bag style, and 90’s-inspired design. That’s what the Alje Bag is all about.”

Kuu Bag

"The Kuu Bag is a practical unisex crossbody bag, perfect for everyday life. The name 'Kuu' refers to the crescent, a shape reflected in the bag's silhouette. The soft and flexible reindeer leather creates beautiful folds, while a strong, adjustable strap adds the finishing touch."

The aim was to create styles that represent timeless design, bags that can be carried everywhere and in any situation.

In the coming seasons, the bags will also be available in dark brown. Both the Alje and Kuu Bags are crafted from unique Finnish reindeer leather. The natural characteristics of the leather perfectly complement the design. The leather is vegetable-tanned.

Like all Vuotia products, Alje and Kuu bags are handmade in Finland.
