REINDEER LEATHER
Reindeer (Rangifer tarandus) hides are by-products of the traditional reindeer herding in Northern Scandinavia and population control. After triumphs and errors, we know that reindeer leather is particularly suitable for producing garments and accessories.
This raw material of limited availability is truly something luxurious from Finnish nature. Reindeer meat is the most important source of income for reindeer herders in Finland and Scandinavia.
The touch and feel are silky, and the size of the skins allows us to create a variety of designs with very few seams and unlined garments. In addition, reindeers live wild, which means that leathers and suedes will have marks from nature. And we are not going to hide them.
Each article is unique. For real.
This is a result of the life the animals have had in the wilderness. The history will keep living in the product and it is not our intention to try to hide it. Every article is unique - two same kinds of articles can not be found. Though the marks of the previous life can be seen, this doesn't mean we'd have to make compromises on quality.

100% controlled supply chain
In our products there isn't a single thing we lack information of. The leather is tanned by our partner in Finland at Ahlskog Tannery. Therefore, we have awareness and control about everything related to the leather of our products. Articles are designed and made in Finland. Things we have quite exclusive right to be proud of.
ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
All of our products are made either of reindeer leather or white-tailed deer leather. Both of these can be considered the most ethical raw material for leather making. Both animals live in Finland in their natural habitant. The deer hides given to the industry is a waste that is result of population control. We have done our best to minimize the carbon footprint of our production chain. From the northern periphery to a neat product it takes only 700km. No abroad production, or leather acquirement. Our products haven’t seen the world much until they are in use - with you.
